Easylam can save 25% on material costs and 33% saving on labour costs. This new general purpose polyester resin has improved wet out. Reduced fibre print and lower styrene content. Less glassfibre with considerable labour savings for hand or spray lay up.
Easylam is not Lloyds approved and so not suitable for boat building however is is ideal for general moulding where 2 or more layers of glass are used. Supplied in 5kg, 25kg and 220kg drums. Buy now!

Metrodeck Roofing System

Metrodeck is a new roofing base resin and topcoat system from CFS. Specifically designed for roofing applications, this system has undergone extensive external fire exposure roof tests and achieved fire retardant BS476 Part 3 FAB. The finished low styrene system coloured BS18B25 (grey) provides excellent properties. Flexible, UV stable, chemical and heat resistant. Resists foot traffic and thermal expansion. Basecoat supplied in 25kg cans. Topcoat supplied in 20kg and 5kg cans.

New Warehouse up and running

After all this time since the last blog entry, CFS Fibreglass has built a brand new warehouse on previously purchased industrial land next to our now old premises, We moved in after Easter 2007.

What a day!

The place was a madhouse today, as lorry after lorry kept on arriving with stuff to deliver to our warehouse. The forklift trucks kept going all day bringing the pallets of resin, mat and supplies in. The sun shone all day, so the trade counter was also continually full with people needing stuff to get their boats repaired and ready. By 4.15pm all the parcels and pallets going out had been completed, so littered around were exhausted staff with the expressions of people who had just been run over and flattened by a steamroller. We all look forward to the day when the new warehouse is built and up and running.
