You will soon be able to see our products in action, in the George Lucas film, Red Tails!
Cornish company, Gateguards UK Ltd, who are based at Newquay Airport, were commissioned to build these fantastic replicas of the North American P51D 'Red Tail' Mustangs used during World War II, for use in the movie, due to be released in the UK early this year.
The movie tells the story of a group of African American pilots battling the racism that is keeping them on the ground instead of in the sky. The film surpassed the expectations of its critics, making its debut in the USA at #2 in the box offices on 20th January. The cast includes Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard.
Unfortunately for Gateguards UK, the planes had to be blown up in the course of filming!
