Phase 2 of NCC Approved

Phase 2 of the development of the National Composites Centre in Bristol, announced in December, has officially received planning approval.

This second phase will make the NCC one of the largest composite research centres in the world, with increased training facilities for teaching, skills and development, as well as workshop areas that can be booked by colleges, universities and SMEs.

Business Development Director, Tom Hitchings, said the new facilities will represent "a major evolution in academic space".
