Demand for carbon fibre is forecast to increase greatly by 2020.
The rising demand has been attributed mainly to the growth in development of wind turbines for renewable energy, and also the automotive industry.
The report, written by Tony Roberts, states that by 2020, 28% of the world's carbon fibre will be being produced in Europe.
